PRAISE

Psalms 149:3 (KJV) “Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.

Psalm 47:1( KJV) “O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph.” Psalm 63:3 (NIV) “Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.” God doesn’t care whether you praise HIM in a dance, or clap your hands or shout. Just that you do indeed praise HIM.  We were created to praise HIM, and bring HIM glory.

Jesus said, ” I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.” (Luke 19:40)
WORSHIP

1 Chron. 16:29 “Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.” Strong’s says this is SHA KAH  1) to bow down, prostrate oneself

Psalms 95:6 KJV “O come , let us worship and bow down : let us kneel before the LORD our maker .” Matthew 2:2 KJV “Saying , Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.” Strong’s says Pros ky ne Oh “to fall upon the knees and touch the ground with the forehead as an expression of profound reverence3) in the NT by kneeling or prostration to do homage (to one) or make obeisance, whether in order to express respect or to make supplication”  Whether you bow, or kneel, or find yourself face down, prostrate on the floor…God doesn’t care how you worship, but HE does command our worship.

Ex. 34:14 “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD….is a jealous God”.

When you think of where and who you WERE…to where and who you ARE… how can you NOT worship?
